What You’ll Do
As a Pharmacist, you ensure patients receive the right medications safely and on time, supporting quality care across the clinic.

Key responsibilities include dispensing and verifying prescriptions, counseling patients on proper use, documenting and maintaining controlled-substance records, and partnering with providers on medication therapy, interactions, and side effects.

Required qualifications/skills

  • PharmD from an accredited program
  • Current Mississippi pharmacist license
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy; able to work independently
  • Clinical or community pharmacy experience preferred

Your Typical Day
You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch. The day starts by reviewing the queue and aligning with the care team on any time-sensitive needs. You’ll spend time at the counter and in consults, answering patient questions and helping them understand their medications. Midday, you’ll handle provider calls, follow up on clarifications, and keep documentation current. You’ll close out the day by reconciling records, checking inventory needs, and making sure the next day is set up to run smoothly.
