About the Role

Join Georgian Court University as a Staff Therapist – Academic Year Schedule in United States. The Staff Therapist, reporting to the Director of Counseling, is responsible for providing individual and group therapy to students at an IACS accredited counseling center.

Key Responsibilities

Provide assessments, individual and group therapy for students presenting with mental health concerns, in accordance with Ethical Principles of the American Psychological Association.

Provide crisis intervention and emergency assessments to students as indicated.

Provide psychological/substance abuse assessments/interventions and referrals for self

Requirements

Master’s degree required; doctoral degree preferred.

NJ – licensed (LCSW, LPC, or licensed psychologist); or license eligible in New Jersey.

Minimum of five years of job

Familiarity with Titanium schedule software
