Job Description
Position: OBGYN Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Coverage Duration
Immediate start for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
Work Environment
Outpatient clinic.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Weekend shifts can be arranged for those interested.
Core Responsibilities
- Performing gynecological procedures, including Pap smears and cervical cancer screenings.
- Experience in obstetrics is required for conducting well-woman visits and providing prenatal care.
- Note that the clinician will not perform ultrasounds, except for third-trimester checks; sonographers are available for early dating ultrasounds.
On-Call Duties
No on-call responsibilities required.
Patient Load
Anticipated volume is approximately 12 patients per 4-hour block, with a target of 24 scheduled for a full 8-hour day, commonly resulting in 21-22 patient encounters per shift.

EPIC.
Credentialing Timeline
Estimated at 90 days from application submission.
Required Certifications
- Board Certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
Licensure
Valid and active California nursing licensure required.
