PODIATRIST
Location: Houston, Texas (Houston and surrounding areas, with travel to
additional locations throughout Texas as needed)
Schedule: Part-Time
Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Podiatrist to join our team. As a
Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to
patients in long-term care facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a
difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of
healthcare professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Performed examinations on patients’ legs and feet to identify and diagnose
various diseases and conditions.
* Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and
calluses.
* Recommend and prescribe medication for relieving joint pain and suggest foot
orthoses to enhance mobility and alleviate discomfort.
* Offer guidance and advice to patients regarding foot care and overall
wellness practices.
* Request additional medical tests as necessary based on the initial
assessments.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
This position requires regular travel to skilled nursing and long-term care
facilities throughout the Houston metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
Providers may also be required to travel to additional locations across Texas as
business needs dictate. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid
driver's license, and the ability to travel independently between multiple
facility locations.
REQUIREMENTS
* Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
* DEA License
* Long-term care experience
* Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your
feet up to 6-8 hours per day
* Travel to assigned facilities throughout Houston, surrounding communities,
and other regions within Texas to provide on-site podiatric care to residents
in long-term care settings.
