Key Responsibilities
The role involves providing ongoing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) care for inpatients through screening, assessment, and developing individualized nutrition plans based on life cycle and diagnosis-specific needs. Key duties include prescribing enteral/parenteral nutrition support, documenting MNT in the EMR, and leading efforts to identify, treat, and prevent malnutrition.
Requirements
Candidates must possess Dietitian (RD) registration and licensure in the relevant state (IL or WI if applicable), along with a minimum of a Bachelor's or Graduate Degree depending on the CDR registration date. Required experience includes didactic experience in clinical nutrition from an accredited program, and specialized knowledge in clinical nutrition and Nutrition Focused Physical Exams is essential.
