About the Role
The Nurse Practitioner will serve as a vital healthcare provider delivering comprehensive medical services. This role focuses on conducting thorough clinical assessments to diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal health outcomes. They will also play a key role in educating patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance the quality of care and improve patient experiences within a dynamic clinical environment in the United States.
Minimum Qualifications
* Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in New Jersey.
* Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
* Current DEA and CDS
* Demonstrated experience in clinical assessments and patient management.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bilingual Spanish speaking.
* Background in Urology.
* Experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
* Perform detailed clinical assessments and physical examinations to evaluate patient health status.
* Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions in Urology.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
* Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, and medication adherence.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and safe patient care.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and clinical interventions.
* Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to uphold patient safety and quality standards.

The Nurse Practitioner will utilize clinical assessment skills daily to accurately evaluate patient conditions and determine appropriate interventions. Pain management skills are essential for developing effective strategies to alleviate patient discomfort while maintaining safety. Strong nursing and trauma response skills ensure the practitioner can provide immediate and effective care in urgent situations, while maintaining patient safety and adhering to clinical guidelines.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include a current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in New Jersey, a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current DEA and CDS certifications, and demonstrated experience in clinical assessments and patient management. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS.
