Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct patient care and ensures safety under the direction of nursing staff. They also perform administrative unit duties, assist with admissions and discharges, and participate in the implementation of individualized treatment plans.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates should have or be able to obtain CPI, CPR, and First Aid certifications, and one year of acute inpatient psychiatric experience is preferred.
