What You'll Do

Lead as First Assist: Serve as the primary surgical first assist, providing critical hands-on support throughout procedures.

Set the Stage Pre-Op: Confirm cases, meet patients, walk them through procedures, gather documentation, and coordinate closely with OR staff.

Deliver in the OR: Support patient positioning, maintain a sterile field, anticipate the surgeon's next move, and work in sync with the surgical team.

Follow Through Post-Op: Assist with patient transfer, deliver thorough PACU handoffs, and complete documentation with precision.

Help Us Get Better: Contribute to clinical and operational initiatives — education, training, and process improvement.

Qualifications

What You Bring

Experience

• At least 2 years of surgical assisting experience
• Hands-on experience assisting in General Ortho and Spine

Education & Credentials

• Candidates must hold at least one of the following credentials:
• PA-C – Physician Assistant-Certified
• NP with RNFA – Nurse Practitioner with Registered Nurse First Assistant credentials

• Physical Requirements: Able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation, including:
