Job Description
Position Overview: Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA Only)
Coverage Duration
Immediate; 6-month engagement with the possibility of extension.
Practice Setting
Outpatient clinic exclusively.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Daily Duties
Manage a diverse orthopedic patient population, including total joint cases.
Responsibilities encompass initial consultations for new patients, treatment of fractures, post-operative follow-ups, and administration of injections.
Call Requirements
No on-call duties.
Patient Volume
Anticipated caseload of 19-21 patients daily.
Electronic Medical Record System
EPIC.
Credentialing Information
Timeframe
Approximately 60-90 days from application submission.
Certifications Required
Board Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as recognized by the American Hospital Association.
Licensure
An active California medical license is mandatory.
