Role
100% inpatient, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Call Schedule
Shared evening and weekend call, 1:8

Postoperative clinic support and dedicated APP assistance

Required Skills and Procedures
Qualifications
Fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Surgery
Case Management
Proficient in managing complex surgical cases within a dynamic, collaborative environment
Support Systems
Access to multidisciplinary teams and resources enhancing surgical practice
Autonomy
Ability to practice with significant independence, backed by comprehensive institutional support
Commitment
Focused on delivering superior patient outcomes through evidence-based, team-oriented care
Qualifications
- Board certification in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery or truly board-eligible
- Fellowship training in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty
- Active medical licenses in both Iowa and Illinois
- Demonstrated clinical and surgical expertise with a commitment to holistic care of hand and upper extremity issues
- Open to candidates ranging from graduating fellows to seasoned orthopedic surgeons
Requirement
- Submit a Self-Query NPDB report generated within 30 days prior to submission at the time of presentation.
Key Responsibilities
The physician will provide 100% inpatient orthopedic trauma care, including managing complex surgical cases and utilizing allocated OR block time. Responsibilities include participating in a shared call schedule and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure superior patient outcomes.
Requirements
Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery with fellowship training in Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction. Active medical licenses in both Iowa and Illinois and a recent NPDB self-query report are required.
