You don't need a clinical degree to change a child's life - just patience, a love for kids, and 6+ months of experience with them. At Autism Learning Partners and Children's Learning Connection (a division of Autism Learning Partners), you'll deliver 1:1 evidence-based ABA therapy to kids and teens with autism. This is an in-home role requiring daily local travel. Candidates must reside within our North Orange County service cities that are Tustin, Fullerton, La Habra & Placentia and all cities in between.

Job Details

Job Type: Part-Time (Up to 30 hours)

Hours

Availability required 4-5 weekdays Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm OR All weekdays Monday - Friday from 8am to 6:30pm. Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs.

Work Setting: Primarily in-home, with the opportunity to provide sessions at a local center based on availability and client needs.

Pay: $23-$28/hr by location and experience, plus $0.50/hr for Spanish/English bilingual fluency and +$2/hr evenings/weekends.

Your Career Path at ALP

BT 1 → BT 2: after 500 billable hours. BT 2 → Advanced Behavior Technician (ABT): after another 500. After ABT: Field Trainer, Regional Trainer, Program Manager, and BCBA. Real room to grow.

Who Should Apply

6+ months of work or professional volunteer experience with children - babysitting, tutoring, coaching, camp counseling, or youth group leadership.

Education

HS Diploma or GED AND at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses).

Also required: Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently; Reliable car, valid driver's license, and insurance; You can pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/ VZV during our onboarding, which we will pay for

Bonus: Experience with autism/special needs, or a background in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or Human Development.

What You'll Do

Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy designed by a BCBA. Use play-based strategies to build communication, social, and daily living skills. Track session data, maintain safety and confidentiality, and collaborate with your care team.
