The Respiratory Therapist assesses, educates, and monitors patients within the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department. This role involves creating individualized exercise programs and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient cardiovascular and respiratory health.
Candidates must hold an Associate of Science degree and be a graduate of a JRCRTE-approved respiratory care program. A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and current BLS certification are required, with the ability to obtain ACLS and PALS within six months.
