Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care | Full-time | Chandler - Ocotillo and Alma School Rd

Location: 1155 W Ocotillo Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248, USA

Status: Full-Time

Schedule:12‑hour shifts Mon - Fri; 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 8 hour shifts Sat - Sun 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, rotating weekends and occasional holidays required with 2 on call shifts per month Compensation: $60-$80/hour (based on experience) + monthly productivity bonus Benefits: Comprehensive benefit package to include; Medical, Dental, 401K, CME and PTO

Position Summary

We are seeking a clinician to join our team in Chandler, AZ (Ocotillo Rd. & Alma School Rd.). This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast‑paced, well‑supported urgent care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona license
• Board certification or eligibility, as applicable
• PA: NCCPA certification
• NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• EHR proficiency
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
• Strong procedural skills (e. g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
