In collaboration with physicians, care teams, support services, and hospital leadership, the APP uses clinical expertise and sound judgment to ensure effective, efficient patient care. Hospitalist APPs enhance communication among providers, patients, and families while supporting all Main Line Health initiatives in this 100%25 remote role. Some onsite training will be required.

Position: Nurse Practitioner, Hospitalist VCOC - Nights

Shift:.5 Position (20 hours per week), Night Shift. Hours 7p-3a Friday, Saturdays and Mondays.

Experience

2+ years of HMS or internal medicine experience strongly desired.

Education

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Required. Graduate Degree Required
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner program

Licensures/Certifications

1. Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) OR certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants)

2. Current license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without restriction

3. Prescriptive Authority and Collaborative Agreement with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing (CRNPs) OR Written Agreement with the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine/Osteopathic Medicine (PA-Cs)

• 4. Registration with the DEA to prescribe, without restriction or limitation
• 5. Current ACLS certification required

6. Completion of the MLH and MLHC credentialing processes resulting in temporary or permanent privileges issued and successful payor enrollment.
