Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the evaluation, diagnostic formulation, treatment planning, and medication management for patients referred for psychiatric services within an integrative care model. This role involves actively participating in primary care-psychiatric consultation and providing longitudinal psychiatric care while maintaining professional documentation and coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

Candidates must possess Massachusetts licensure as an Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, preferably with 2+ years of experience in psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, and medication management. Required experience includes working with adults across the lifespan and possessing thorough professional knowledge of psychiatric practice, including prescribing and managing psychiatric medications.
