Key Responsibilities

The role is responsible for optimizing drug therapy by identifying, resolving, and preventing drug-related problems to improve therapeutic outcomes, while also ensuring patient care complies with all governing laws and regulations for pharmacy practice. This includes providing direction and guidance to support staff, participating in performance appraisals, and documenting clinical interventions and errors.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a generic Pharmacist State License, with residency experience being required and a PGY2 residency in psychiatry preferred. Preferred experience includes 3-5 years working as a pharmacist, along with extensive knowledge in areas like IV admixtures, drug information, and distribution.
