Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Key Responsibilities

The PMHNP will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, and provide both medication management and psychotherapy. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care across the lifespan.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MSN or DNP from an accredited PMHNP program and possess a current Maryland Nurse Practitioner license. A minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric evaluation and medication management is required, along with active PMHNP-BC certification and DEA registration.
