Job description
MAJOR FUNCTION
Examines, evaluates and diagnoses impairments, functional limitations and
disabilities. Develops and carries out the plan of care including education of
patient /client. Directs and supervises support personnel in Physical Therapy
services.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
* Graduate from a program in Physical Therapy, which has been accredited by the
Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
* Holds one of the following degrees: Bachelor of Science, Master’s or
Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
* Acute Care and/or Outpatient experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure
* Must maintain current license in the State of NJ to practice Physical
Therapy.
* Current BLS (American Heart Association) preferred or required within 60 days
of being hired into the position, required.
* Certification in area of specialty preferred.
