Opportunity: Part-time role with future potential for full-time growth
West Side Pet Clinic is seeking a Part Time Associate Veterinarian to provide high quality preventative and outpatient care for cats and dogs.
Due to continued client growth and increasing demand within the community, we are expanding our doctor team and looking for a veterinarian who enjoys building client relationships, practicing quality medicine, and working collaboratively with a supportive team.
This role is focused exclusively on outpatient medicine with no surgical or dentistry responsibilities. You will spend your time seeing appointments, educating clients, and providing preventative and wellness care in a fast paced but supportive environment.
What to Expect
A schedule that respects your time. This position is currently structured as a part-time role with a consistent 2-day schedule. As client demand continues to grow, there is potential for the role to expand into a full-time opportunity for a veterinarian interested in increasing their schedule over time.
High client demand and a growing caseload. West Side Pet Clinic has built a strong reputation within the Buffalo community and continues to see increasing demand for affordable, accessible veterinary care. This position is part of our continued expansion to support our growing client base and patient volume.
Outpatient medicine only. This role is strictly rooms-based with a focus on wellness, preventative care, routine sick appointments, and client education. No surgery or dentistry required.
A 3:1 staff to doctor ratio. You will have the support—and respect—you need to be excellent for our patients. We’ve got your back. Our current team consists of 4 DVMs and a wonderful support staff of technicians, assistants, and CSRs.
All the benefits you deserve: 8 PTO days, 3 CE days with a $3,000 CE allowance, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, pet discounts, uniform allowance, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP), plus we will cover your dues, license fees and AVMA-PLIT!
Paid time off. Catch your breath with Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays, and paid CE days every year. Take the time you need to recharge.
Partnership opportunities through Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP), where more than 165 veterinarians co-own practices across 200 locations. VPP offers unmatched support in operations, marketing, and finance, allowing you to focus on your passion for veterinary medicine.
Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
Valid veterinary license in the state of New York
