Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Specialist conducts crisis and biopsychosocial assessments while providing behavioral interventions and care coordination for patients in the Emergency Room. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to develop and implement effective care plans from admission through discharge.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field and possess appropriate clinical licensure. A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with at-risk populations is required.
