Join Bread For The City as a Physician Assistant in Washington, District of Columbia. Mission: The mission of Bread for the City is to help Washington, DC residents living with low income to develop the power to determine the future of their own communities. We provide food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services to reduce the burden of poverty.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports BFC’s vision, mission, and goals in daily interactions with patients;
- Obtains patient health histories and perform physical examinations;
- Diagnoses, treat, and provide preventative care to all patients, and provide referrals where appropriate;
- Supervises students in training as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer;
Requirements
- BSN from an accredited School of Nursing;.
- Certified by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
- Demonstrated commitment to working for and with low-income people;.
- Current D. C. license;.
