Job description

About Momentum Physical Therapy
Momentum Physical Therapy is a locally owned, Best-of-Pueblo-2024 practice in Pueblo, CO, dedicated to getting patients back to pain-free living through hands-on manual therapy paired with individualized, evidence-based exercise programs. Clinicians here are encouraged to pursue advanced certifications and treat the full range of musculoskeletal conditions: from orthopedic injuries and post-surgical recovery to vestibular disorders and chronic pain. As part of a locally owned team invested in the community, you'd be joining a practice that feels more like a close-knit partner to its patients than a corporate rehab chain.
Compensation Package
This role pays $55,000-65,000 a year. We take mentorship seriously, giving you the support to grow toward the upper end of that range. As you grow your caseload, you'll help more patients and earn more. You won't be figuring it out alone.
In addition, we provide:
$5,000 Sign On Bonus Eligible
Unlimited continuing education funds, plus a $500 travel stipend
17 days of PTO in year one, increasing with tenure
$10,000 in tax-free student loan repayment over 5 years, paid monthly
Relocation assistance available
Benefits
On top of that, you get the standard package, done right:
· Medical insurance, with the clinic covering roughly 75% of your premium
· HSA option with employer contributions
· 401(k) with an employer match that vests immediately
· Dental and vision insurance
· Short-term disability and life insurance options
Why Clinicians Choose Momentum Physical Therapy
At Momentum Physical Therapy you’ll get more than a job. You’ll get a career path, mentorship, and the chance to work in one of the country’s most beautiful regions. Some highlights:
Clinical autonomy where you make the calls on patient care
A new grad mentoring program that builds up your caseload as you’re ready for it
Unlimited continuing education and specialty certifications, no budget cap, no approval process
Documentation that doesn't eat your evenings, thanks to AI tools that handle the charting
A real path to Clinic Director or another clinical leadership role
Reasonable caseloads and flexible scheduling
Evidence-based care, backed by the technology and time to deliver it
Life in Pueblo
Finish your workday knowing your income covers your mortgage, your weekend plans, and your future, without the cost-of-living grind. Pueblo is one of Colorado's most affordable cities, with a thriving regional economy and easy access to the Rockies: sail Lake Pueblo, raft the Arkansas River, ski Monarch Mountain, or explore the Royal Gorge. Therapists move here for the lifestyle and stay for the career growth, mentorship, and chance to practice hands-on PT while building toward clinic leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing
Most of your day is spent directly with patients, planning and delivering hands-on care with the autonomy to treat the way you think is right. That includes:
Hands-on interventions through manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and specialty modalities
Teaching patients and their families about recovery, home exercise, and injury prevention
Tracking progress and adjusting plans as patients progress
Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
Documenting in line with HIPAA and state and federal rules, using AI tools that cut down on paperwork instead of adding to it
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a PTA who genuinely wants to help people move better and wants to keep growing themselves. Ideal candidates have:
A Physical Therapy Associates (PTA) degree from an accredited program
A Colorado PTA license, or eligibility for one
New grads welcome. Experience helps, but it’s not required
Strong communication skills, the kind that put patients at ease
Interest in growing into a leadership role down the line
Current CPR certification
Physical Requirements
You’ll need to:
Lift up to 50 pounds
Stand, bend, reach, and use fine motor skills regularly
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises
Equal Opportunity Employer
Momementum Physical Therapy is an equal opportunity employer. We don’t discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status, and we’re committed to a diverse, inclusive workplace.
