Job description

Position Overview: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Coverage Duration

Immediate start for 3 months with the potential for extension; candidates open to a 6-month commitment are encouraged to apply.

Work Schedule

Expect a mix of 8 and 10-hour shifts from Monday to Sunday, totaling approximately 40 hours per week.

On-Call Requirements

There are no on-call duties.

Case Responsibilities

The CRNA will manage a diverse caseload, including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, plastic surgery, vascular procedures, and podiatry. Proficiency in robotic and laparoscopic techniques is expected for the majority of these cases.

Additionally, the role involves healthy pediatric patients, while experience in high-risk obstetric cases is mandatory due to the operating environment of the medical centers.

Anesthesia Practice Model

The CRNA will primarily practice within a Care Team Model, operating independently. However, there is an option for those interested in supervisory roles.

Electronic Medical Record System

The facility utilizes EPIC for documentation and record-keeping.

Credentialing Requirements

Candidates must be Board Certified and hold current BLS and ACLS certifications
