Key Responsibilities

  • will develop competencies, skills, and ability to apply drug therapy knowledge, becoming a managed care pharmacist clinician with diverse patient care, leadership and education skills who is eligible for board certification and postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.
  • will achieve professional competence in the delivery of patient care and managed care pharmacy practice.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy and be eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist in Washington State, obtaining licensure by October 31st of the residency year. Selection requires participation through the ASHP Resident National Matching Program, and applicants must have U.S. citizenship or a valid Green Card.
