The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe milieu through continuous patient monitoring, safety checks, and reporting changes in patient condition to the RN. They also assist with clinical tasks such as vital signs, specimen collection, and facilitating patient activities within the forensic unit.
Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting. Essential certifications include a valid driver's license, CPR, and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI).
