Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Consultant provides culturally relevant, trauma-informed mental health assessments and parenting support to pregnant individuals and families with young children. They work collaboratively with home visiting nurses and integrated care teams to deliver bio-psycho-social support in home and community settings.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a behavioral health field or a PhD/PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. Applicants are expected to obtain or hold an Alaska Clinical Licensure and demonstrate an understanding of Alaska Native and American Indian cultures.
