Job description
Position Overview: CRNA
Coverage Period: Late September for a duration of 3 months, with potential for extension.
Practice Settings: Hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center.
## Clinical Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia care across a diverse range of procedures, including General, Orthopedic, Urology, GYN, Gastroenterology, Head and Neck, Thoracic, Neurology, ENT, and OB. Proficiency in OB is preferred, as permanent staff necessitate this experience. Patient demographic is adults; no cardiac cases or pediatrics are anticipated.
## Work Schedule: Combination of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts throughout the week, including 12-hour shifts for OB cases. Commitment to 1-2 weekends per month is preferred, with corresponding weekdays off. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
On-Call Requirements: No on-call duties required.
Patient Volume: Anticipated variation in patient load contingent on room assignments.

Team Structure: Operate under a 1:3 MD supervision model per shift, with adequate support staff.

Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Utilization of EPIC system.
## Mandatory Certifications: Board Certified CRNA, BLS, ACLS, PALS. While PALS is not strictly required due to the absence of pediatric patients, it is preferred.
