Key Responsibilities
The counselor delivers gender-inclusive and trauma-informed substance use disorder treatment services to adults in custody using a chronic disease framework. Responsibilities include conducting ASAM assessments, facilitating treatment groups, developing individualized care plans, and performing case management.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field or equivalent experience and possess a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) certification. Additionally, candidates must be credentialed as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor 1 (CADC 1) or higher with the MHACBO.
