Key Responsibilities
The counselor delivers gender-inclusive and trauma-informed substance use disorder treatment services to adults in custody within an outpatient framework. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, facilitating treatment groups, developing care plans, and performing case management.
Requirements
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field or equivalent experience and hold a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) certification. Additionally, candidates must be credentialed as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor 1 (CADC 1) or higher with the MHACBO.
