Key Responsibilities
The pharmacist performs medication management activities to ensure safe, rational, and cost-effective therapy while overseeing pharmacy technicians and distributive functions. They also provide medication education to patients and collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve adverse medication events.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD and hold a current pharmacist license in the state of practice. At least 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting is required.
