Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Consultant provides direct patient care, including short-term psychotherapy and behavioral health assessments within an integrated care model. They also consult with primary care providers to support patient treatment plans and participate in quality improvement activities.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Doctorate in Psychology or a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling with a valid California license. Additionally, two years of post-licensure psychotherapy experience and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
