Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Speech Pathologist will perform diagnostic speech pathology tests, evaluate patient communication and swallowing functions, and interpret results to aid medical diagnosis. This role also involves determining therapeutic plans, providing patient/family education, and selecting assistive speech devices.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications require a Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology, completion of a nine-month Clinical Fellowship Year, and holding or being eligible for a Speech-Language Pathology License in Ohio, along with ASHA's Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Candidates must also be able to stand for long periods and possess sufficient manual dexterity and visual acuity.
