Key Responsibilities

  • will perform diagnostic speech pathology test procedures and evaluate communication and swallowing functions of patients.
  • Provide counseling and education about communication and the diagnosis to patients and families.
  • Provide observations about hearing and other behaviors to help determine the need for other services.

Requirements

  • Language Pathology License (SP) from the State Board of Speech
  • Language Pathology & Audiology Hold a Speech Pathology license in the state of Ohio Hold Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC
  • SLP) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) Completion of a nine
  • bed health system that includes a 173
