Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct patient care and facilitates a therapeutic environment under the direction of clinical staff. They are responsible for monitoring patient safety, managing behavioral crises, and documenting patient care activities accurately.

Requirements

Candidates must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and demonstrate the ability to work with aggressive patient behaviors. Preferred qualifications include a CNA or EMT certification and post-high school education in social work, psychology, or a related health science field.
