Hospice Medical Director - Independent Contractor

Key Responsibilities

The Medical Director will provide overall medical oversight for the hospice program, including participating in interdisciplinary meetings and reviewing patient plans of care. They are responsible for certifying terminal illness and ensuring compliance with quality and program-evaluation standards.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current, unrestricted M.D. or D.O. license in California and be eligible for Medicare participation. Strong communication skills and experience in hospice or palliative care are highly preferred.
