This contract position is an on-site role, offering an outstanding opportunity for skilled professionals looking to make a significant impact in the field of anesthesiology within a thriving medical practice environment.
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various procedures. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our anesthesiology services.
Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia for surgical and medical procedures
Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments to determine patient needs
Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond accordingly during procedures
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient safety
Manage post-anesthesia care and communicate with patients
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of anesthesia records
Stay current with best practices in anesthesiology
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed
Requirements
Associate's degree in Nursing; CRNA certification is required
Valid state license to practice nursing in anesthesiology
Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Exceptional communication skills with patients and medical staff
Maintaining current BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience in diverse clinical settings is preferred
Flexible Schedule: 10, 12, and 13-hour shifts available Monday-Friday
No call or weekend shifts required
Trauma and OB experience required
Spinals (no blocks or epidurals)
No OB, hearts, or liver transplants
Supervision: 1:2 or 1:3
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid licensing, travel, and expenses
