Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various procedures. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for surgical and medical procedures
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments to determine patient needs
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond accordingly during procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient safety
• Manage post-anesthesia care and communicate with patients
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of anesthesia records
• Stay current with best practices in anesthesiology
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing; CRNA certification is required
• Valid state license to practice nursing in anesthesiology
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Exceptional communication skills with patients and medical staff
• Maintaining current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in diverse clinical settings is preferred

Flexible Schedule: 10, 12, and 13-hour shifts available Monday-Friday

No call or weekend shifts required

Trauma and OB experience required

Spinals (no blocks or epidurals)

No OB, hearts, or liver transplants

Supervision: 1:2 or 1:3

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid licensing, travel, and expenses
