Job Description

OBGYN South is excited to expand our team and invites Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physicians, including 2027/2028 OB/GYN residents, to apply for a full-time position in our well-established, faith-based practice.

We have successfully welcomed two new physicians recently, with another joining next year, and we are planning to expand our facility to support additional providers as we continue to grow.

Comprehensive Women’s Health Services: Onsite mammography, pelvic pain and urogynecology specialists, Maternal Fetal Medicine on campus, and surgical robotics.

  • Hospital Affiliation: Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital, Homewood, AL
  • Level III NICU
  • Brand new breast CT scanner (only one in the state)
  • Designated OB hospitalist to support on-call physicians
  • Rotating clinical staff to assist physicians
  • Block OR time dedicated to practice surgeries

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Valid state medical license

Key Responsibilities

Provide obstetric and gynecologic care in a full-time clinical role with an approximately balanced mix of obstetrics and gynecology. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in shared call coverage, supported by onsite specialists, hospital resources, and dedicated operating room time.
