Job description

BluePearl Pet Hospital in August, GA is seeking Emergency (ER) Locum Veterinarians to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital. As a Locum ER Veterinarian at BluePearl Augusta, you will work alongside an internal medicine specialist, cardiologist, oncologist, and surgeon, to ensure the highest standard of medical excellence for pets and the community.
BluePearl Augusta is proud to offer:
12-hour shift rates of $1500 - $1800, or the greater of the commission amount generated during the shift.
Who we are at BluePearl Augusta:
Our hospital includes 11 exam rooms and 4 surgical suites
We offer CT, digital radiology, C-Arm fluoroscopy, ultrasound, flexible endoscopy, Snyder oxygen cage, multi-parameter monitors, comprehensive Idexx labs, iStat, and an expansive pharmacy.
We carry blood products and have on-call whole blood donors available when needed.
Specialties services include Surgery, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Oncology.

Augusta, GA is home to the Masters Golf Tournament.
We have mountains 2 hours north and beaches 2-3 hours east.
There are numerous state parks and the largest man-made lake East of the Mississippi feeding the Savannah River where world-class fishing tournaments are held.
Lots of summer activities abound with campgrounds scattered along the coast line that includes both South Carolina and Georgia.
The area is appealing to runners, bikers and kayakers.
We have our own minor league baseball team, the Augusta GreenJackets, playing in a brand-new state-of-the-art stadium.
