Key Responsibilities
The pharmacist is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, reviewing orders for therapeutic appropriateness, and monitoring drug therapy effectiveness. They also participate in multidisciplinary patient care rounds and provide drug information to healthcare providers and patients.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy and possess a valid New York State Pharmacist license. A minimum of three years of hospital pharmacy experience or completion of a pharmacy residency program is required.
