Job Description
Health Center Inc. (also known as The New York Hotel Trades Council and Hotel Association of NYC, Inc Employee Benefit Funds) is a NYC based healthcare organization with ambulatory care facilities staffed with a wide range of health professionals to provide extensive medical and diagnostic services. We offer Primary Care, Dental, Radiological, Vision, Mental Health, and other Specialist services at our facilities at no charge to our Union members (which consist of hotel employees), removing the financial roadblock that many people face when trying to obtain quality medical or dental care. We are looking for a General Dentist for either our Harlem or Brooklyn location to help in our mission of providing top notch dental services to our Union members. It's an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to make an impact for under-represented communities and have a stable work schedule (No weekends and no overnights!)
Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for providing dental care and treatment to patients.
* Assesses the patients to determine dental care needs.
* Develops a dental treatment plan with the patient.
* Educates patients regarding preventive care, planned care and treatment and follow-up care; also provides general health education as it relates to dental care.
* Makes referrals, as indicated by the assessed needs of the patients.
* Voluntarily participates in the on-call schedule.
* Provides emergency care and treatment, as necessary.
* Documents complete information in electronic dental charts
Education and Experience
* Current license as a Dentist in New York State.
* Current BCLS certification, DEA, Infection Control certification.
* Meets all requirements for appointment/reappointment as a member of the clinical staff.

Annual salary starts at $144,200 and can go up depending on experience!
