The Nurse Practitioner will provide high quality, safe, effective, and evidence-based care in partnership with patients and families, utilizing advanced clinical knowledge to promote optimal health. This role involves working to the full Nurse Practitioner scope autonomously, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Candidates must possess a Master in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner Stream or equivalent education with a post-Master’s Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate. Preferred experience includes a minimum of 1 year as an advanced practice nurse in CV Surgery and 3 years of relevant specialty experience as a Registered Nurse.
