Job Description
Make an impact. Change lives. Live a Legacy.
Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team at Kavod Senior Life, a vibrant senior living community offering primarily Independent Living with a smaller Assisted Living population.
Position Highlights
- Up to $104,000 annually
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
- Full-time, salaried position with 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends
- One-on-one treatment
- 80% productivity expectation
- Opportunity to participate in the CAPABLE Program with specialized training
- Russian language skills are a plus!
What Makes This Opportunity Different?
This isn’t a high-volume outpatient setting! You’ll provide individualized, one-on-one care, giving you more time to focus on your patients and build meaningful relationships with the residents you serve.
At Kavod Senior Life, you’ll primarily work with residents in Independent Living, with a smaller Assisted Living population. Therapy goes beyond the rehab gym, allowing you to provide care throughout the community and focus on the everyday activities that help residents maintain their independence.
You’ll also have the opportunity to be part of the CAPABLE Program! This unique program brings Occupational Therapy and Nursing together to help older adults identify and work toward the functional goals that matter most to them.
From improving mobility and home safety to making everyday activities easier, CAPABLE puts the resident’s goals at the center of care.
You’ll receive specialized CAPABLE training to help you bring the program to life, including training in motivational interviewing and strategies that support resident-led goal setting and action planning.
And you’ll have a pretty great work environment too! The therapy space is located on the top floor, offering great views from the community. Kavod serves a diverse resident population, including a large Russian-speaking community, so Russian language skills are a plus, but not required.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Provide individualized, one-on-one occupational therapy services to residents.
- Evaluate residents and develop treatment plans based on clinical findings and functional goals.
- Help residents improve independence with everyday activities.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support meaningful outcomes.
- Provide functional treatment throughout the community based on each resident’s needs.
- Your Legacy career offers great experiences, work/life balance, and excellent rewards, including:
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
- 401(k)
- Medical, dental, vision, prescription, and pet insurance
- Paid time off (PTO) with rollover and buyout options at year’s end
- Company-paid group life insurance
- Flexible spending account
- Voluntary life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance
Licensure Reimbursement
MedBridge access with unlimited online continuing education for full-time employees.
