Job Description

Seeking a mission-driven Pediatric Dentist to join our team in Philadelphia

Greater Philadelphia Health Action (GPHA), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) committed to providing compassionate and affordable healthcare services, is seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Pediatric Dentist who is passionate about working with children and families in a public health setting.

We are looking for a Full time Pediatric Dentist to examine, diagnose, and treat dental conditions in infants, children, and adolescents, including patients with special healthcare needs. You will create a positive, comfortable environment for young patients while delivering high-quality dental care.

Responsibilities include

* Perform oral examinations and assess dental development in children

* Diagnose conditions using X-rays and other diagnostic tools

* Provide preventive care including cleaning, fluoride treatments, and sealants

* Treat dental issues such as cavities, infections, and injuries

* Perform procedures including fillings, extractions, space maintainers, and pediatric crowns

* Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and preventive care

* Prescribe medications when necessary

* Maintain and update electronic health records accurately

* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support overall child wellness
