Description POSITION SUMMARY A Physician Assistant provides primary care services, including assessing and managing patients in the clinic following established standards and practices of the clinic. The position combines the roles of provider, mentor, educator, researcher and administrator.

Key Responsibilities

• REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS This position reports to Director of NP/PA Services.

• This position has no direct reports.

• ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & FUNCTIONS: While living and demonstrating our Core Values, the Physician Assistant will: Examine and treat patients Instruct and counsel patients.

• Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other health-care workers Interpret diagnostic test results including to assess and identify deviations from normal.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge and success in effecting overall clinical operations Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and emergency situations successfully.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• Call responsibilities required.

• Weekend coverage may be required.
