Key Responsibilities

The psychiatrist will primarily provide outpatient psychiatric services, conducting clinical interviews, developing treatment plans, and managing medication, including long-acting injectables, while documenting encounters using Epic. Additionally, the role involves participating in treatment team meetings and consulting with support services for patient care and safety.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed a medical degree (MD/DO) and a general ACGME psychiatry residency program, hold a license to practice psychiatry in Georgia, and be ABPN board-certified or board-eligible. The ideal candidate should be team-oriented, possess strong communication and decision-making skills, and be comfortable with technology for virtual care delivery.
