Jefferson Health is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonologists to join our growing multidisciplinary pulmonary care teams across various regions, including our academic flagship campuses and community-based hospitals, such as those within the Einstein Healthcare Network. We offer a diverse range of practice environments, from high-acuity academic centers with teaching opportunities to community-focused hospitals with a strong emphasis on personalized care.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence in pulmonary medicine, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Opportunities exist in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with flexibility to align with your clinical interests, including critical care, advanced bronchoscopy, or subspecialty niches.

Job Description

Provide comprehensive diagnosis, management, and treatment of pulmonary conditions including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep-related disorders

  • Interpret pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and sleep studies
  • Perform and interpret bronchoscopies and other pulmonary procedures (as applicable)
  • Participate in inpatient consults and/or ICU coverage (based on site-specific needs)
  • Collaborate with critical care, thoracic surgery, radiology, and oncology teams
  • Document care in a timely and accurate manner using electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
  • Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students (at academic sites)
  • Participate in departmental and hospital-wide meetings and initiatives
