Key Responsibilities
The Mental Health Counselor provides direct resident care, monitors behaviors, and facilitates group therapy sessions in an inpatient setting. They are also responsible for documenting resident notes, supervising meals, and assisting with the admission process.
Requirements
A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates must possess current CPR certification and knowledge of psychiatric group processes and crisis management.
