Key Responsibilities

The Mental Health Counselor provides direct patient care, monitors resident behavior, and facilitates therapeutic group sessions in a residential setting. They are responsible for documenting resident notes, supervising meals, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment for adolescents and adults.

Requirements

Candidates should have a high school diploma, with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field preferred. Two years of office experience in a health-related field and CPR certification are also preferred.
