Job description

BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospitals in our Charleston, SC area hospitals are seeking LOCUM internship trained or experienced emergency veterinarian to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospitals.
We are looking to expand our current emergency and critical care department due to the high caseload and growth of the service. We have a full complement of specialists (internal medicine, surgery, & oncology) and work in a collaborative environment.
The ER doctor schedules are designed with a strong focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and Charleston offers a wonderful coastal setting to call home. Our facility in Mount Pleasant is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including CT and MRI capabilities, advanced ultrasonography, comprehensive endoscopy services, surgical suites, critical care support, and in-house laboratory diagnostics.
Why Summerville, SC?
Located just 24 miles from Charleston, Summerville is at the HEART of it all. A place where the flowers bloom by the acre, and history lives on every corner. Where world-class cuisine is served with a side of Southern charm, sweet tea is measured by the gallon, and it's a short ride to Rainbow Row, the Edge of America, and gardens galore.
Steeped in natural beauty of lush pines and blooming azaleas, Summerville, a Tree City USA community, has many outdoor parks and gardens to explore. We may be a small town, but we've got charm.
Take a stroll through our historic downtown or simply take a seat and enjoy the small-town charm as you allow your taste buds to tingle with every sip of our homegrown southern sweet tea. You’ll soon find yourself feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and thinking that this is exactly how life should be. So, come on in and hang out in the town where not only the tea is sweet, but the people are too.

Excel in a dynamic environment as an emergency veterinarian, delivering expert care to critically ill or injured pets.
Embrace our commitment to innovation by utilizing cutting-edge diagnostic tools and perform life-saving procedures, contributing to a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team of specialists to make a real impact on the lives of pets and their owners.
