Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

The pharmacist is responsible for screening physician orders for accuracy, drug interactions, and appropriateness while supervising the preparation of intravenous and parenteral products. They also participate in multidisciplinary patient care rounds and provide clinical pharmacy services, including patient counseling and staff training.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a pharmacist license and a controlled substance credential, with a preference for a 6-year Pharm.D. degree. One to three years of experience in a hospital or medical center pharmacy setting is preferred.
