About the Role

Alum Creek Veterinary Center LLC is looking for a passionate and experienced DVM Medical Director to lead our dedicated veterinary team in Delaware, OH. Responsibilities

Provide high-quality veterinary medical care including examinations, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment for small animals

• Lead, mentor, and support clinical staff to uphold standards of medical excellence
• Develop and enforce hospital medical protocols, policies, and best practices
• Oversee patient care quality and ensure compliance with state veterinary regulations and licensing requirements
• Collaborate with Practice Manager on staffing, equipment, and hospital operations
• Foster a positive, team-oriented clinic culture focused on compassionate patient and client care
• Assist in onboarding and continuing education of veterinary and support staff

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active and unrestricted Ohio veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum of 5 years clinical veterinary experience
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or mentorship experience preferred
• Strong surgical and diagnostic skills across a broad range of cases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and staff
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuing education
